A quick & easy guide to making my favorite quiche! Quiche is so much easier than people think, and it looks as though you have spent hours making it. One of my shortcuts is to use an already frozen pie crust purchased at the store. I always make two, one for now and one for the freezer. Saves a lot time in a morning when you don’t have time to make the whole thing or don’t feel like making a mess. Just thaw out for a few minutes, then bake it just like a fresh one, but sometimes it takes an additional 10 minutes or so to fully baked.
This recipe happens to have caramelized onions, bacon and cheese; however, you can change that up as much as you would like. If you only want veggies, try sautéing some mushrooms, asparagus and onions, with cheese, of course. Another option would be to try cooked sausage pieces and cheese; I might even add onion to this one, too. Experiment with the flavors that you and your family like. This is a no-fail recipe.
