Chicken with Delicious Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce

Quick and easy way to make Chicken!

This is a cross between a scaloppini and a picatta, but oh so delicious. It truly is a lip smacking delicious way to fix chicken. Chicken is on the lower end of my taste bud list, but this recipe is so much better than other ways to make it. Of course, I loved fried chicken, but this is probably a healthier choice.

Do you ever get tired of making the same thing, day in and day out? I am always searching for new ways to make dinner more appealing. I love looking through my hundreds of cookbooks, or go to Pinterest, and look for more appetizing recipes. I found this recipe online, and tweaked to it my own tastes, and it is fantastic.

Chicken prep with flour

Ingredients

4 Chicken breasts

Flour

Salt and pepper to taste

2 Tablespoons Lemon juice

1 Cup chicken broth

1 Tablespoon of garlic (minced)

1 to 2 Tablespoons of Butter

¼ Cup heavy cream

Preparation

I usually like to pound the chicken down so the pieces are consistent in height. Flour the chicken breasts; add salt and pepper to taste. Sauté the chicken breasts in a little butter until cooked through and golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side. Add garlic and cook for no more than a minute.

Mix the chicken broth, lemon juice and heavy cream together and add around the chicken. Let it cook for approximately 5 minutes. If the “gravy” is too thin, make a roux of 1 Tablespoon of water and 1 Tablespoon of flour and add to the pan. Let it cook down for at least 2 minutes. To serve, place chicken on plate, over pasta, and add gravy on top.
