Ingredients

Salsa

1 large red onion (yellow will work also)

10 – 12 Roma tomatoes (fairly firm)

2 – 4 Tablespoons Cilantro (to your taste)

1 teaspoon diced Garlic

Juice from 1 or 2 limes (again, to your taste)

1 -2 Serrano peppers

Salt, pepper and garlic salt

Guacamole

3 – 4 Avocados

Juice from 1 lime

Salt, pepper and garlic salt

Preparation

Salsa

Chop the onions, cilantro and Serrano peppers and mix together. Remove the seeds from the peppers – they can get really hot! Chop the tomatoes in very small pieces. Add tomatoes and garlic and mix well. Add the salt, pepper and garlic salt (all to your taste) and mix. Add the juice from the lime(s), mix and set aside.

Guacamole

Cut the avocados lengthwise. Remove the pit. Scoop out the avocado meat and mash. Add the lime juice, salt, pepper and garlic salt and mix. Add about ¾ cup of the salsa to the avocado mixture and mix well. Serve salsa and guacamole with tortilla chips.
