My love of pigs goes back to when I was a child living on a farm in the Midwest. I have collected pigs for years, and have hundreds of them. Pigs and Fall just seem to go together for a great coffee setting.

A great story on the pig napkin rings. My husband and our friend Tom were on the East Coast on business a few years ago, and when they had some free time, they went on what they called the “Great Doily Hunt” for Tom’s wife. When they arrived at Mystic Seaport, CT in May of that year, Bob found a set of Pig napkin rings and bought them for me and had them shipped. Well, he forgot about it, and 4 months later, on my birthday in September, a box arrived for me. Much to my surprise, here was a box full of Pig napkin rings, and Bob claims to this day that he had them delivered special for my birthday…..yeah, right! Nevertheless, it was a most welcome and precious gift. I use them every chance I get and love to tell how Bob got credit for such great timing.
